kamiyama85, you are awesome because of what you listed for your genre picks

Genre: As with Kamiyama85 I really don't mind anything besides country and trance, emo has become more of a generic term really so it depends on the band.

    thre red jumpsuit apparatsu
    asian kung-fu generation
    secondhand serenade
    nirgilis
    from autumn to ashes
    my chemical romance
    t-pain
    T.I
    thousand foot crutch
    funeral for a friend
    orange range
    story of the year
    silverstein

damn, i need to update this list later, looks like i've only looked at only parts of my playlists.

    Spoiler!

Why don't more people read these mangas?

As far as genres go i like to keep an open mind. I'd say i lean towards r'n'b, hip hop, soul and a bit of jazz but i'll listen to anything if i like the sound of it.
    Band/artists that i like
    A Tribe Called Quest
    Common
    Jamiroquai
    Queen
    Ice Cube
    Zero 7
    Mos Def
    Wycelf
Amy Winehouse(Frank > Back to Black)
    James Brown
    Basement Jaxx
    4 Hero

There are tons more, and i haven't even started about stuff i could listen to if it came on the radio but i wouldn't necessarily buy the album.

I can't stand RnB, Rap, Hip Hop and Pop >_< (but sometimes there's a good song among them...)

    Bands:
    Linkin Park
    Maximum the Hormone
    KoЯn
Saliva (well, it's just one song I know from Saliva xD)
    Sum 41
    System of a Down

I have a feeling, that we had this thread already oO°

Well, I thought it'd be nice for people to list their favorite artists here, since it isn't possible to upload every one of their favorite artists in that thread.

Alternative, J-Pop, etc.: Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Cake, Foo Fighters, Fratellis, Blockhead, Kidkanevil (fantastic), Old 97',The Greenhornes, JJ, Smoke City, The Strokes, White Stripes, Wolfmother, Zero 7, Dragon Ash, Diablo Swing Orchestra (thanks Jink).
Hip Hop and Dub/reggae: Culver City Dub, Cyne, Diverse, Dry and Heavy, Common, K-os, Kero One, Nujabes, Funky DL, Hocus Pocus (awesome), Sacred Hoop, Nomak, Shing02. Dj Krush.
