maybe it's just me but i dont think that jiraiya will die fighting pein...the "prophecy" (for lack of a better word) that the great toad sage told jiraiya simply stated that one of his students will have the power to either destroy the world or save it...to me that could also mean naruto..as he does have the kyuubi sealed inside him...so because of that...i don't think jiraiya will die just yet...i think he still has something to do with saving the world from the kyuubi

I agree in that I don't think he will die, but it seems that he is going to get beaten up pretty badly from what we know so far.

i knew itachi had some explanations to say...he never acts randomely,still, killing parents cannot be justified in any case...if only sasuke holds his obssessed ass for a bit....i wanna hear what itachi has to say

Madara and Itachi are actually running the Akatsuki. They have plans which not even Pein knows anything about. The rest are all puppets for the Uchihas goal.

Pein will suffer defeat from jiraiya. Then the truth behind Madara will start to unfold.

Jiraiya's death will have great influence on the growth of Naruto. I honestly wish that we're gonna see some great progress on Naruto's powers...

No, unacceptable. How could Kishimoto kill off one of his most beloved characters?! Actually...no, it wouldn't be too hard, I guess...but, it's Jiraiya!
