Very nice stuff, the first drawing has some awesome lining on the body. I always love those deep, thick lines.

looks good but like stated above its missing contrast, your whites aren't white enough due to smudgeing i would guess nothing an kneaded eraser wouldn't cure. and the darkest color needs to be very dark, thus giving it a nice contrast which adds to the feel of the picture.

for instance the whites of the dbz characters eyes should be noticably white versus his face.

Good shading. I especially like the strong, bold lines. The only thing, as others have said, is the contrast. Make your lights lighter and your darks darker. I recommend using one of those white erasers to highlight areas. Then just take a soft-leaded pencil (or charcoal if you have it), and rework your darker areas. Or ... bring your artwork into your favorite image-editing program and tweak the contrast there.

Well done. I really like the drawing on the right.
