Evangelion...movie?

Ive heard some rumors about creating 3 new evangelion movies! 2 of them continuing from anime and the last with a brand new ending not having to do with the original ending. anyone noe anything?

From my understanding there will be four of them. The first three are spoused to be a retelling of the anime. However, these will contain all new elements, characters, backgrounds, etc. The first one will cover up until the events of the sixth episode of the show (Operation Yashima, were they diverted the cities power to take down the angel). The fouth movie is to be an all new end to the series.

Edit: There is a trailer out in Japan of the first movie, but I don't know of anywhere to see it online at this point.

The word is that it'll be 4 new eva movies, which rebuilds practically most everthing in the Eva universe, which includes most new stuff, all four of the new eva movies should be released 07/08, and there is also a side series called Petite Eva thats being made along side it, of course with the word petite it means that all the characters are being super-deformed...and Eva 01 being a mute high school student

Okay, so I looked into a little more and at this point the third and fourth movies are gonna be shown together (thus the reason people think there is only gonna be four of them).

Nah the live action trailers shown at that site are fan-made ones, basically grabbing well known movies and making it like an eva trailer, and for some reason they seem to like Elijah Wood as Shinji
