I liked the stretched fights. We already know the storyline, so its like a detailed re-telling of the story.

But if it's scenes have been stretched out, I still watch the episode since it is still the canon storyline. It's usually boring as heck and I feel like I've wasted 20 minutes of my life afterwards, but I watch it anyway because it feels awkward for me to skip regular episodes.

Kind of lame reasoning, but it's true. XD
i agree with you. if its a filler episode it can be skipped entirely b/c it has nothing to do with the storyline, but with stretched fights- if you miss one, you miss a piece of the fight, even if it's only one punch.

I would prefer stretched fights. When you make a fight longer you can make both parties look good. In doing this, Anime-Only watchers will think the Akatsuki are much more BadAss than they actually are. It's good because it can make all your favorite character look better than they are depicted in the manga. That also works both ways though, The characters you like are looking better than they actually do while the characters you dislike will also get more action as well. So I mean it goes either way for me.

I think 95% + of the fillers were just unwatchable... if "stretched fights" go into DBZ style, I'd rather have neither...

Stretched fights all the win, as long as the fight is actually good.

Those directors got no talent at making fillers, they are terrible.

However! Sometimes I found those stretched fights annoying as well, particularly the ones in Naruto. The characters fight 2 minutes and talk 5 minutes. What kinda of ninja uses conversation as their main tool as oppose to Jutsu? Apparently almost half of Naruto characters. But some fights were well done.

Then you don´t like naruto or bleach then beccause they are both like 50% Stretched fights, 40% Filler, 5% Character building, 2,5% Nonsense and 2,5% Random jokes. And that goes for all mangas in the same style. So what do you like? (Kinda interested to know, maybe i´m missing some thing.)
