Seriously, how pissed does someone have to be to not only f*ck up the website but also snitch on them. Just what on earth happened at MangaStream?
Well anyway I just hope someone else picks it up before the new release

In theory I foresee there being someone who just pays for Viz's manga scans and releases the whole thing week by week on torrents etc.
Lollipop Candy ♥BAD♥ girl
mangasteam's response was so bitchy i want to subscribe to Jump Alpha ,but it`s only for American.Sucks to not be American then.
While I do respect them for taking down their releases after a while, they've ultimately brought this upon themselves with some of the stunts they've pulled in the past, like the twitter and iPad messes.MangaStream had and probably have seen it coming. It was really nice to have stable and reliable releases of One Piece and Hunter x Hunter, and I am grateful to MangaStream for it. I don't really understand those who bark at Viz. The scanlations haven't ended with this, and tomorrow another group will post another release.

This was the inevitable outcome of the experiment. This is the fate of groups that get these gigantic followings. This isn't the first time mangastream's been contacted by viz. At one point they were trying to negotiate with them. It's got nothing to do with someone turning them into viz or their recent internal problems, they were already in viz's sights, it's got everything to do with the fact they got large enough to cause viz actual problems. So they hit the kill switch, it happens. You all act like this isn't the cycle that this shit goes through. Every couple of years the main group scanning the big series dies for some reason and a new one pops up. Everyone then forgets the old group and focuses on the new guy. Sure, for me it's a little sad. I know some of those guys, I used to work with some of them, but in the end it is what it is.
Yes DFX, now three posts.
Just because I'm dead doesn't mean I'm actually dead.
In short, nothing will change. Just like when they shut down xyz in the piracy scene more just come to fill in the gap.

Also, zombie remnants of mangastream will probably branch off and start some new groups for everyone to love.
