Therefore... There are patterns, everywhere in nature.

I don't know how to answer this question. I don't think there's just one "best" anime. Animes will always come and go, and most of the time they will get better. I've watched a LOT of animes, but I would have to say the first animes that I ever saw will always have a place in my heart.
Completed: DB, DBZ, (not GT), Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Yakitate Japan, FMA, GTO, Outlaw Star, Gundam, Shaman King, Hunter X Hunter, Flint the Time Detective (never finished :(), Digimon (1st & 2nd season only), much more, but i can't think of anymore right now
Ongoing: Inuyasha, Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, One Piece
I don't really like Ouran High School Host Club. Sure, it's funny, but after watching the first 5 episodes, I said it's a Shojo not a Shonen and that's that. I like anime series and manga more than one anime movie. Princess Mononoke is just a copy of Inuyasha. Akira was good though. There a lot of others, but I haven't watched them. I don't like watching animes just for comedy, same reason I don't like Simpsons that much. I have to have action and a good storyline first; comedy can always be added into anything later. GTO is an exception because I actually read the manga for that. I think comedy type animes are much better in manga not anime. There's also animes that are awesome if you play the games, but really suck if you watch the anime such as Pokemon and Yugioh.

Currently reading/watching:
One Piece, Naruto, Deadman Wonderland, Kenichi, Bleach (not really)
I'm sorry, but...whut? I honestly have no idea how in the world you made this conclusion. Even if you don't like Princess Mononoke, saying it's a copy of Inuyasha is so inaccurate I couldn't help but comment on it. :/
I don't know what the best anime is, but I do know what my favorites are.
~ Escaflowne
~ Fruits Basket (the ending was kind of abrupt since it ended at the sixth/seventh volume of the manga, but the series was still good)
~ Azumanga Daioh
~ The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (haha, who doesn't like this series?)
~ Yakitate! Japan (the manga's better, but the series was fun too)
I haven't finished watching it yet, but I think Wolf's Rain will be good too.
I like Japanese animated movies more than most anime series, to be honest. Especially Studio Ghibli works. And even though I love the Escaflowne series, the movie will always have a special place in my heart since I watched that first. Also, I have a fondness for bittersweet endings, apparently.![]()
Bleach because it actually gets through like 3 chapters of manga an episode instead of Naruto's 1 chapter. FullMetal Alchemsit rules too.
hmm? I would say
1. Death Note
2. Shaman King
3. Death Note
4. Blood+
5. Ouran High School Host Club
(Well, I love most anime I watch XD)
Favorite Anime: Pani Poni Dashu; Hilarious if you understand Japanese culture, Funny even if you don't.
Favorite Manga: Love Hina; First manga I ever read, before I even knew much about Japanese. Still a classic, though I HATE the anime of it.
BEST Anime:
Cowboy Bebop
Samurai Champloo
FullMetal Alchemist
One Piece
Darker Than Black
"The leopard is a cruel lover. His tenderness breaks the gazelle's heart."
