In all fairness this board is largely populated by the cerebrally impaired. It's only natural that they gravitate towards Bleach and Naruto instead of something like One Piece.
In layman's terms: "omg big soard!!!!!!!!!!!!"
It popular but its also well written and flows very well. There is nothing controversial to talk about and nothing to bitch about, its just good. We all read it but I think the other boards are more popular because of the plot holes and all the missing information and random powerups and stuff. Dun think OP will have that anytime soon.
A pie in the sky?
well.. they killed the OP anime in USA.. like they kill most animes due to insane and childish "censorship". Thats why is not very popular in certain areas. But anyone that knows about manga knows that OP is on a league of its own.
completley agree with luminac 4kids ruined the one piece dub in a america
ruined? they murdered it the butchered it and then... well u get my point lol they tried to make one piece a little kids show... my god. Water guns, lolipops, surfers voice... it was horrible... even I that love OP couldnt watch that version of it.
They are working on it... but the damage in certain markets has already been done... and way too big to be repaired by redubbing it.
French version of OP anime was awful too xD
the voice cast was unbearable.
But i think the anime itself is not very good (from what i saw) poorly animated, very static. I just think it could have been much better if the fights scenes were well animated with great motion and not so slow.
maybe the editing messed the fight up because till now.. unless is a filler, the fight have just been GREITO!
The only thing I personally find wrong with the One Piece anime is the damn fillers. I had to stop watching it because fillers give me headaches. =/
