The truth about Tobi

im going to keep it brief, so feel free to add to this theory

tobi is nobody. He is the creation of Madara using the rinnegan, just as the tailed beasts and moon were creations by the sot6p
his purpose was to return madara to life, whilst embodying his ideals and setting the plans of war into motions. Within his lifetime madara could not complete his task of becoming the next sage, and so using rinnegan izanagi he created tobi.

I wasnt sure if the other thread matched to this, seeing that was more of a split theory and sharingan izanagi than this

For sure Tobi is a creation of Madara.

We have seen plenty of evidence that he is at least in part a Zetsu. I would say that Tobi is a Zetsu Clone that Mimicked/Copied Madara's Chakra, AND Was infused with Madara's Chakra and Mental energy.


Madara was about to die, and If you are a Megalomaniac like Madara, who can you trust to revive you from death other than yourself? Madara died but his will, his mind, and his chakra continued to live through Tobi. This is the reason the other Zetsu Clones all obey Tobi.

The interesting question/Irony now is whether Madara's personality, which recognized no one above himself, will allow Tobi to submit to the original Madara?

this sounds possible. i mean, from what, Kishimoto wrote about the Sage of Six Paths, splitting his power into a body form and eye form that resulted into creating the "Uchiha" and "Senju" clans. i don't think it's entirely impossible for Madara to accomplish something like this, being that he was nearly killed, during his last battle with the First Hokage.

if, Tobi is indeed a mere creation that Madara made to continue his plans, it would make sense that he can use the Rinnegan, Sharingan as well as having detailed knowledge to attempt some of the things, he's done in the past and now present.

there's also the possibility, that Tobi is somewhat similar to Kabuto, a ninja who's highly intelligent in learning and adapting to all levels of ninja skills and may admire what, Madara was trying to accomplish. One thing also for sure is, Tobi's main goal is to control the world for the better (in his own mind) and wishes to use the Sage's power to do it.

I wonder, if there was anyone else, who was present during before the Sage of Six Path's died. maybe, Tobi is the third link or something between Senju and Uchiha. Like a perfect hybrid or something.

Madara Probably used the cells he got from the First Hokage during their battle to create both Tobi and Zetsu, as they both have The First's DNA in them. He also must have put some of his own DNA in Tobi to give him the Sharingan, as well as all his memories. To add more to this, if he was alive at the time (Since he mentioned Nagato, he probably was), then he could have found and used Obito's Corpse to make Tobi. However I have no idea why he would make Tobi in the first place, and I don't think it was to continue his plans.

To make this more interesting, why do you think Obito is involved? And as to why Madara created Tobi, Edo Madara clearly expected to be resurrected, and he expected that a grown up Nagato would have done it. Obviously someone had to guide Nagato into resurrecting Madara, so Madara needed Tobi for that purpose.

I can't say Tobi is not Izuna resurrected, but is there any kind of evidence to suggest it?

Plus the fact he didn't want anyone to think he wasn't Madara.

I agree he has Hashirama's cells. However, I would think that a BIGGGGG! ego like Madara's probably would like to keep his own face. Anyway I have no proof to go by, so it is a possibility.

Very true. But that could easily be part of the Plan. Madara may have wanted to reveal himself to the world at some point for the sake of his overall plans. If that were the case, he wouldn't have have wanted them to know he had died.

The thing that isn't easy to figure out is how much of Tobi's actions are in line with Madara's plans, and does/did Tobi intend to revive Madara
