I watched one of those episodes and couldn't believe what I was watching. It's like they fired their normal filler staff and only had the janitors left. Actually, that is quite an insult to janitors.

LOL, huge chunk of the pain arc was actually animated by monkeys with wacom tablets.

Actually the story would be better off following some of the other cast doing some side missions or something.

234 does look to be the most interesting of the upcoming episodes. As from the sounds of it, I would guess its some from of a personalized chuunin exam for Konohamaru. but we'll find out soon enough i guess.

Edit: its not that apparently. but still looks to be a reason to watch, as some of the little pieces look to be animated better than some filler

Edit2: Was actually a decent episode all things considered. the fight animation still leaves much to be desired. Holy crap what a hole though. Konohamaru looks to filling his dual roles and heritages (grandson of the 3rd and Naruto's first real student) pretty well.
