    you dont have to be a fan of boxing to like it. its got humor to coincide with fighting. its basically fighting/ comedy catered as boxing

    So I am watching the anime right now, does the manga continue after a certain point or is it like FMA where it goes off in a totally different direction. Because i would love to continue to read it after I watch the anime and all the specials. I think Miyata is AWESOME, but no one beats Takamura!

    A bit weird to revive this thread now, but... wow, I just started Hajime no Ippo a few days ago, and I admit it's just awesome! I'm on chapter 200~ atm, I can't imagine where the story will go with so many chapters ahead.

    I picked this up the other day. started on chapter 600 or so, anyway, it's really good.

    I love the gym, though i do wish we'd see a little more focus on Takamura and Itagaki. Especially the latter who i want to see go on to do great things.
    Can you scanlate? Then consider scanlating Air Gear. Either join an existing team like Kuu, or start a new team. But Air Gear is in desperate need of scanlators and you could be the difference between crazy smiling grateful fans and the internet breaking down because they had nothing else to do but watch porn. Think about it.
