This is a tale of friendship, betrayal and lots of bloodshed, a tale of a young mercenary named Guts... oooh Yeah , blood guts and gore. Man this is the big daddy of all sword slashing and blood spillling. The anime was a waste in my opinion. The manga is still ongoing, its been there for a pretty long time.

compared to the manga the anime wasn't that good in terms of structure.i watched the anime before reading the manga so i was really confused about a lot of things. but when i read the manga it all made sense. one thing i didn't like about the anime was the exclusion of certain important characters of the manga from the anime, i.e. skull knight and puck.

there has been quit a year on the market, maybe about 12 series till finish if I'm not forgotton....but as mentioned earlier, better to look for manga than anime.....more characters and more violence....
