1200 is always better than 800 because there are the same arguments that made television evolve from greyscale to colored TV (and NTSC/PAL) - and from there to HDTV. I would never watch the One Piece anime in 704x396 if there was an HDTV version... Simply because you can see many more details.

Please, I beg you down on my knees: Stay with 1200px width...
