both ying and yang are inside naruto.... the only difference is the "good" chakra is the one Minato let leak out and fuse with Naruto's while the "bad" one is completely sealed inside Naruto. We know that since the seal is weakening the "bad" chakra is starting to leak out as well. As far as manga stated, 4 Tails transformation is when "bad" chakra leak so much naruto completely loses himself. I imagine the other 3 tails are still the "bad" chakra but Naruto is still able to handle it.

In Chapter 370, Jiraiya says that the 4th only sealed half of the kyuubi's chakra in Naruto. What would be the point of splitting the kyuubi in half if he had planned to seal all of it in Naruto? The other half of the kyuubi's chakra is in the shinigami's stomach

Just to clarify Yin = Dark Yang = Light.
The way the chapter was translated tells us that one half was sealed with the the shinigami, the other half was sealed into naruto.

The yang seal is in the toad's scrol,originally naruto only broke 1 ying tail,jiraya made a crack in the ying seal and had it go up to 4 tail naruto cant make it higher then that....He needs a HUGE amount of anger for that...And stgill the ying's 5th tail should be unleashed in 1 year or so...

???? are u guys reading the chapter right??? It is impossible for the 4th to take the yin and yang chakra of a creature stronger and with more chakra than him and split it... that would have killed the kyuubi or at least made it "good" then. BOTH chakra's are inside naruto aka THE KYUUBI. The 4th made the seal so that the "good" chakra leaked out and "helped" or made Naruto stronger, which we know gave him Huge chakra supply, accelerated healing, some regenarating abilities to mention a few. The "bad" chakra is also and still with the kyuubi just that like him it is completely sealed within Naruto. We know that the seal itself weakens with time and Naruto's will also has control (or some of it) over it. The key Jiraya has is so he can completely open the seal or, not sure how to say it right, "recharge" the seal so it wont break. But with the key u can simply open or relock it, not like Naruto's will that allows some of it only to leak. The toad told Jiraya that since he "open" the gate just a little bit the 4 tail transformation occured, so we know that THATS where the bad chakra is and also that the key was entrusted to Jiraya to open or relock or reenforce the seal if it became too weak.

huh? I don't know how clear that sounded in your head but when I read it I simply cannot make sense of it. What you are saying is because when Jiraiya tried to leak more demon fox chakra out caused a 4 tail transformation it means that the Dark chakra of the Kyuubi is in Naruto?

because Naruto is receiving the good one for himself... and we know the "good" it does for him. But the one sealed, when it comes out or is let out makes Naruto transform into a ninetail like being that literaly and physicaly hurts him. To the point that make all his body bleed.... no way is that the good chakra.... lol That is the bad chakra that is sealed. It is very clear thou that 4th wanted for Naruto to be able to to combine this 2 chakras into 1 so he could use "THAT" jutsu (which must be Naruto 9 tails). But, as we have seen and the toad said, Naruto cant handle that yet.

Hate to break it to you but Naruto getting hurt during the transformation has nothing to do with Kyuubi being evil, it's caused by the pressure that the chakra puts on his body when it uses it as a skeleton.

Where does it say that both chakras are in Naruto? If you read chapter 370 pg. 13, you'll see that Jiraiya says that the 4th "only" sealed the yang chakra in Naruto. His exact words are in the first panel with the picture of Naruto as a baby. The kyuubi's yang chakra is already allowed to mix with Naruto's chakra, but at a slow rate obviously. When Jiraiya messed with the seal, he was trying to see if he could handle it but his own chakra was pushed aside and the kyuubi tryed to reform using Naruto as a medium. That's how i saw it and read it.

well, only Kishi will answer this later, but in my opinion is pretty obvious both chakra are inside but the evil one is completely sealed since Kyuubi is not a entity the 4th could kill let alone handle all of its chakra and then split it and then see what to do with it.
