Chad isn't dead. He's too strongwilled to die--oh wait, wrong manga. That's Luffy. Maybe he lived still. Rukia could have died, but then that would suck, since Ichigo and Rukia make a much better couple than Orihime and Ichigo. Ishida and Orihime made a better couple. :rofl

well my theory about that is it is the hollow form in which grimmjaw hasn't removed his mask yet, seeing as the guy in the background is dead (forgot his name) most likey he found grimmjaw in that form and saw that he was really strong - in my opinion a flash back

EDIT: also including the fact that the guys mask in the background has not yet been removed or broken

Oh, I think you're totally right...the guy is Shawlong the former 11th Arrancar with his mask still in place (at least it looks like his claws from his Tijereta release)...nice work.

Am I the only one who happens to be enjoying this fight?

Though I do believe it should have ended with the last chapter, as that seemed like a decent way to finish it. However, I have to agree with revibe that the panther is Grimmjaw before he removed his mask. It seems fairly obvious as the border is black, a common trait for flashbacks (i.e. When Rukia remembers the night Kaien died).

I think the panther is just another form of Grimmjaw's hollow form. Kind of like how Thunderwitch or something had two forms [1) Form with scary wings 2) Form with big tail thing]

Edit: I think you're insane in a way to be enjoying a fight that lasted like 10 chapters PyroTI...

and for non-katakana readers, it does say grimmjaws name in the panel with the panther i'm sure of it
