On a side note its ironic the Sand village was facing economic troubles because the Feudal lord at the time was investing his money in the Leaf yet they had Kazekage who can control Gold dust. That should mean no more money problems!!! He could have made the Sand rich.

Hmmmm, shouldn't the gold dust be a little toxic ? From what I understood he doesn't really control real gold, he just mix it with sand to make it heavier, just like Garaa used crushed hard rocks (?) in the fight with the bone kid to block his attack. His magnetic power isn't at the level of the 3rd Kazekage, who could freely manipulate iron, he still uses sand.

i just so hoping that kishi wont throw naruto in that kage fight...
it will be so stupid if kishi just stop this potentially great fight just like that...

we still havent see the ex mizukage ability... hope it will be so unique since he is the one who kill the 1st tshuchikage right?

Naw, this is definite redemption for Gaara. I do wish the battles weren't so "3 vs. 4"--at least the Alliance platoon should be fighting the Zombie's platoon, while the big dogs are having these flashbacks/dick-measuring contests.

Yeah, the ex-Mizukage must be packing some serious heat to have killed someone who could do Dust Element (and create craters like that)!

Does anyone else enjoy the Edo-Kages interaction with each other as much as me? I think I would have liked the ex-mizukage. He seemed excited when he saw Gaara gigantic sand wave. After re-reading I realized that Gaara's Dad's technique was a "Dust" tech and not a "Sand" tech. As much as I like Gaara it seems the older generations were stronger than him. Both Gold dust and Iron sand trump regular sand.

Plus I love the fact that Oro's name is still being brought up so long after his "death"

I didn't understand something after reading chapter 546.
When naruto hits the ninja with his rasengan, did he seal by the same way the edo ninja?? Because his corpse is fading away with bits of papers... I thought that naruto's power only affected wood elements and the white zetsus... MAybe that's what kabuto sensed when he said "what".

Besides that, the fight between the kage seems to be very promising. But the two kages are going to fail. Four against two, we already know the outcome of this unless a miracle flash intervenes... ^^

No, when the bodies are "killed" that's what they do, crumble away. It's just that they immediately pull themselves together. We didn't see him pull back together because they sealed him away using the same seal as was used on a number of the other Edo Tensei zombies.

Kabuto was shocked alright. I don't think he saw Naruto coming, so it was like he was hit out of nowhere.

Heh, somehow I don't think gold has the same value in the world of Naruto as it does in ours. I mean, being able to summon stuff at a moments notice tends to take a lot of the value out of commodities. On the other hand, maybe that's why the village was poor, they had to keep up the supply of gold dust for Gaara's dad to use, and he took it all with him when he died?

Hey, he is from the Uzumaki Clan. It would only make sense that he'd be able to seal the zombies, or anything else for that matter. If Sasuke can have his clan's famous eyes, it's only fair that Naruto has his clan's famous seals. (Also, whodathunk at the beginning of the manga that Naruto not only had a clan, but it was a badass clan as well!)

It'd be interesting if Naruto could figure out how to use Kushina's chakra chains. It'd give him a bit more versatility. Odds are, though, he'd just turn them into a Chain Rasengan. And if he learned Minato's Hiraishin, he'd make a teleporting Rasengan.

I meant that Gaara himself (without Shukaku) is able to make 4th Kazekage think he is fighting the one-tails (not Gaara).

great chapter. redemption thy name is gara. can't wait for the next chapter and i hope we some a few other boss fighters step up to fight with gara and the old guy. but great chapter.
