Air Gear ~ Oh! Great

Anyone read this awesome manga? A very original manga (in my opinion) done by Oh! Great.

The story is about a boy named Ikki who discovers the giant, competitive world of Air Trek, a sort of futuristic, evolved sport similar to roller blading, only these blades have miniature motors and other such hidden wonders about them. The more Ikki rides, the more he falls in love with the sport and the deeper he falls into the plots of the many factions found in the world of Air Gear, aiming for only one goal: to be the legendary Sky King, lord of the wing road and the greatest storm rider in the world.

As I said before, it's a wonderfully original premise with a great story, dynamic characters and beautiful artwork. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend you do.

I've seen the first couple of episodes,. has the Tenjou Tenge flavor. Amazing music in it,. and very beautiful animation.

Yeah, I like it, but sometimes I gotta read a chapter twice because of all the think and narration they do in most of the chapters. Plenty of twists, many turns of events, and lots of beautiful lady parts and very good humor tied into a new little packages.

i agree some chapters may take me up to 15 min to read usually i only take 3 min to read a bleach or naruto

It starts out like a fan service, which is good in its own way, but later on it gets so twisted and cool. Anyone read the latest chapters? Holy SHIT,

Well, both the anime and the manga are very well done, in my opinion, so, whichever you guys have seen, it doesn't really matter, 'cause they're both awesome.

I was skeptical at first, not being a huge fan of 'extreme' style sports, but my girlfriend convinced me to at least watch the first disk of the anime. I have to say it is really a great show, and an even better manga. Once I started I couldn't get enough of it, haven't quite caught up on the most recent chapters but will be doing so this week.

Sora may be evil, but I was more shocked (and excited) when Kazu became the Flame King.
