    No they never controlled the Kyuubi but before Madara used the Kyuubi to attack Hashrima the Cloud tried to captured it and the Gold & Silver brothers got stuck in it instead.

    i think that the "Uzi 9mm" clan has a Kekke genkai, some kind of Supressing chakara from the so6p, that let them make super seals/supressing

    IE the new seal on the 9 tails and kushinas chains on the 9 tails..

    we will wait and see

    I think that suppressing the bijuu has more to do with advanced, polished, sealing techniques and the strong physical energy of the uzumaki clan combined, rather than some kekkei genkai.
