The more I think about it, and from having read this chapter, the more it seems as though Decken is the real villain of Fishman Island. Then again, that's if Decken himself was behind Otohime's assassination.

I'm curious if Urashima's Casket even works like Decken thinks it works. Does it affect the person facing the casket when it opens, or the person opening the casket? And how much will a person age if the casket is opened for, say, a split second?
The sort of questions that are currently going through my head when I start thinking about this casket.

I also think Decken was behind it, he caused chaos in order to get close to Shirahoshi.

On another note, that was an interesting Legend. I wonder if Luffy will be the man who will guide princess Shirahoshi.

Wow, what a sad chapter :'-( And here I thought the other two brothers were flamboyant just to be assholes. Turns out, it's all out of love.

Great chapter! 100% sure that VDD is responsible--100% sure that VDD didn't do it.

awesome chap.
It does seem like VDD was the one responsible for it to get close to Shirahoshi,
but knowing oda, I don't think that's actiually the case.
Can't wait to see how this whole arc will play itself out.

my thinking exactly, Luffys got to be the one that guides her since I think that power she has is just a form of kings haki put together with their ability to talk to fish and so Luffy will help her understand the haki part of it better

Increditably sad chapter....

So we finally understand the legend and Shira's powers. Also, there seems to be now more to Madame Shirley's prediction and Shira's possible uncontrollable order for Sea Kings to destroy FI. Very interesting. I have no doubt Luffy is the man to guide Shira, though idk if that goes as far as her becoming a new crew member....

As for the assassination, I personally believe it is HODI JONES. A few chapters back he was very angry looking when Otohime brought up her signatures again and possibly this was the beginning of the Hodi and Decken "friendship": an assassination garnering both's ambitions!
