Alright, here is a crazed theory.

Perhaps Madara has cast his eternal tskuyomi. They're showing the moon now, so there is a chance that Madara has cast it. Although this is a weaker form of the jutsu and probably temporary. Neji has been caught with the genjutsu, and now doing his maniacal massacre on the doctors. The reason why he was captured by the tskuyomi is because that it was shown that he was draining himself. Now, that he is exhausted he can be illusionized.

Now that night has fallen as this chapter as said, maybe he casted a weaker form of the eternal tskuyomi?

Madara said "tommorrow" when it was night. It's still same night, tommorrow hasn't happened yet.
Its got nothing to with eternal genjutsu thing.

I am still thinking that Madara casted his Tskuyomi for a bare moment.

We can't just assume Itachi casted a genjutsu we don't even know if they're close to the medic squad.

Based on moon shots, I am thinking that his tskuyomi has been casted.
