He got a really bad fever when he first ate the medicine ball in Breaker V.1, and was able to obtain/use a huge amount of Ki, and now he has a fever again. Looks like his Ki is back. The black origin method was probably the only way for his Ki center to restore or work somehow, and Goomoonryong knew this in advance. Not sure he tamed the technique, but he might be able to use Ki again. Since Black Heaven and Earth technique is very good at Ki control and regeneration through breathing technique, this rage mode could be very good at Ki center restoration/creation...or something of that sort.
