Anyways, decent chapter. At least some pannels gave me a war impression, that's more than nothing. And looks like Kishi ain't gonna drag things out unnecesarily and go straight to the point.

I still think the Zetsus are fucking boring though. And bringing zombies back to life is fucking cheap. But since that's what we got and can't do a damn thing about it. . .at least make some outrageously fun fight scenes. Go all out, Kishi.

Black lightning is just Lightning element. Whatever he does to make it black, I don't know. I'd rather say it's a little more intricate than just possibly dark manipulation. But my favorite guess right now is, it's because he's badass.

Whats darkness manipulation? If you're referring to positive "dark" chakra, i believe that only applies to bijuu chakra.

I don't really think that's case. Back during Naruto's training to learn his elemental affinity, he asked about the manipulations involved in Shikamaru's shadow techniques and Chouji's Multi-size technique since they clearly weren't elemental. Kakashi was going to explain about light/dark manipulation then, but Yamato cut him off. So it isn't something applying only to Bijuu chakra.

Yeah there is more about chakra and jutsus for Kishi to explain, the gap between elemental chakra/jutsus and light and dark chakra or jutsu. It could be something like there is light and dark chakra with in all living beings but it can only be seen when chakra is made visible like with bijuu chakra. Naruto said he has to get the feel for getting the light/dark chakra ratio right, so I base my supposition on that.

I gotta be honest I like how ET has allowed so many awesome ninja from the past to be revealed in something more than a flashback. Beside the Zetsu army would've been piss week if Kabuto hadn't amped them up, shame Yamato had to be captured for that.

Im thinking storm element is more of a technique than a bloodline limit, maybe water in one hand, lightning in the other and wind out of his mouth, these together makes a storm...

Nah Storm Element is a blood limit this is a fact I did the scanlation of the sketches with Kishi's notes read it for yourself. It fuses Water + Lightning to create a new element Storm.

I would bet its Kinjutsu a forbidden jutsu not blood limit related but difficult to master. Darui seems to be specialist with Lightning natured jutsu's thats why the 3rd Taught him.

Where as the Raikage is more like Naruto in that hes probably not good with hand seals as his main jutsu does not require any seals but is body activated. He lost his arm an didnt bat an eye as most ninja loosing an arm means no more seals and ninjutsu but the Raikage can still use his lightning armor.

Darui likes looking at himself as "slow". That's his personality. That's also what his name means.

Darui - "slow" as in sluggish
Omoi - "heavy" as in pessimistic
Karui - "light" as in all perky and emotional.
Samui - "cold".
