Well I think there is more to it than we know as we saw it only from Gaara's perspective. If the Kazekage really wanted Gaara dead why not attack him himself he should be an S-class ninja. I think Gaaras dad had mixed feeling about his son even though he sent ninja after him most where crap ninja.

Maybe somewhere deep down he couldnt bring himself to kill his own son but at the same time was trying to do the duty of Kazekage and he was conflicted the whole time. This may come out in his confrontation where admits his failure to Gaara as a father and that deep down loved him but as the head ninja of the village he had to kill that part of him to carry out his duties in the interest of the village and making it stronger.

As I never understood the whole lame tried to assassin him thing I mean if you really want him dead send an army of elite ninja and get it done not some Chuunin noobs who specialize in Fail-jutsu. Any case thats my prediction for Gaaras dad I mean hey if ninjas like Sasori still had feeling for his parents why wouldnt the Kazekage care about his son. Its just that people interpret the code of the ninja differently. Like some of the Mist villagers and Sasori himself they trained themselves to get rid of emotions and become more like emotionless tools. I think this is what Gaaras dad did become emotionless Kazekage and this is how he failed his son.

Even the third hokage couldn't pull the trigger when he caught his prized student doing naughty things... How much more for a father to murder his own son... That in itself is almost unthinkable... I think we'll be served with a hug-not-jutso in the next few chapters... Not saying it's bad at all.

This must be kishi's purpose for edo tensie.. It offers a lot of match-ups and and resolves past issues and conflicts so that the new generation can begin a bright new era.

He doesn't need to be revived. Actually it seems that Kabuto doesn't whant to rescue him. After all he has the one that sealed him(Itachi) dancing on his palm, though it's possible that Itachi himself isn't capable of unsealing Oro.

Notice the italicized word. I'm thinking that Orochimaru would reappear just when Kabuto is about to die (or face total defeat).

He hasn't really been killed, I want to see him die. Everytime Kishi could've killed him completely, he's somehow not-that-dead-yet.

Kabuto has control over his summons, we might see Orochimaru released from the sword. Kabuto prolly has a massive intel that we still don't know about.

I'm curious as to how Black Zetsu would deal with the warlords. How would Madara use them?
