I enjoyed Don Kanonji's anime appearance to Aizen and Gin quite a bit. I just can't help but laugh at how pathetic the situation is there. But what I really can't wait to see is Gin's betrayal next episode. Then after that, I just want to get the rest of the shit over with.

True. The Band who did the ending thought it was the final season too and posted it on their blog but they had to remove it because one of the directors/Producers of the anime said they still have plans to continue for a while.

Giving a 1 year of space for the manga to move forward could be a nice idea, though having so much time between current chapters and Aizen Vs Ichige, there bound to happend 1 - 3 filler arcs.
