Hehe, I think it was the translation wait effect, where people saw there wasn't a scanlation so they decided to make their own, but there were actually a bunch of people that already made one and were sitting on their clean for a day. And then the TL came out and we can all typeset at the same speed apparently, 4 scanlations at the same time ^_^.
