nice to read, sasori is still as good as always, but deidara leading the squad is a little showy IMO.
looking forward for the mortal vs. immortal fights next week.

Getting straight into the action... Genjutsu is the key to stopping Kabuto, or Soul-sucking techniques. We already pretty much knew that, but still. If they kill Kabuto before the clones are stopped, then it could be disastrous (unless there are a lot of shinobi running around with soul-sealing techniques).

The way I see it Akatsuki's ambush squad has the advantage, if Diedara and Sasori start spamming bombs and puppets then the shinnobi are screwed but atleast the shinobi know what their going up against.

Damn Kabuto made short work out of Anko. Kankuro's getting his rematch with Sasori now, and it looks like things are shaping up in Akatsuki's favor. I like how Kishi has made this war seem so realistic and I feel if the rest of the arc continues as is now the best is still way ahead of us. Sai's brother finally makes an appearance and the formerly emotionless ANBU is now faced with his greatest test yet.
Omoi looks to be ready to throw down and show what he's made of. No more worrying time to take action. The battle of the ambush squads is off to an explosive start thanks to Deidara. Now let's see just who gets the initial advantage and sway of the war in their favor.
As long as everything just keeps on flowing forward, then that's already enough.

Wow! After the last batch of Sasuke Pilgrim vs. The World fights, it's so refreshing to see battles involving some actual use of strategy again, rather than "Nyun of ur attaks werk cuz I spam Ultra-Mega-Chicken (credit to LittleKuriboh) defenze!HAHA!U suck"
It's good to know that the good side is well-informed of the immortals that they're facing, so hopefully they have developed some manner of defense, cuz I certainly can't think of one. Look forward to more battling goodness!!!
