but IMO the turning point will be, which side Sasuke joins in or switches to, since it looks like hes the one in charge of Naruto!!

Naruto is capable of shaping kyubis chakra, the next step is regeneration, Kyubibunshin(Naruto creates a body for kyubi's mind so that they can fight together), THAT jutsu.

He sank to the bottom of that lake or whatever, apparently too deep for anyone to fish out his body, otherwise he would have been the new pain before he attacked Konoha.
