Fried's hair cut was even funnier on the anime, really disappointed they cut Elfman out of the picture. He said his line but still was a lot funnier in the manga. Got to get used to Wendy's blue hair figured it was black, wonder why. But overall not going like this arc much, didn't really appeal to me in the manga.

- loved the Edolas arc, seeing peoples counter parts was hilarious
And i didnt think the blue hair was *that* bad, sure black woulda been better but eh, what can ya do.
What i really hate though is the anime is catching up too fast, they made it too soon, now we suffer a filler arc or worse...Click to see what RPG personality you are.

That was my thoughts exactly, looking more into it. Fairy Tail anime only got signed a contract with 50 episodes. It was originally suppose to end with the Laxus arc. But obviously since they did a real good job at keeping it toe to toe with the manga and not to mention the characters and there moments they shine. It easily attracted many fans in Japan and rose to the top of the charts fast. They gave them another 50 episodes, depending on how well they do this arc, Fairy Tail may well continue to be another big on going anime. And how it's set up it isn't to hard to do fillers for it either, so yes expecting HUGE filler arc if they continue after this upcoming arc. Mashima done plenty of "filler/special" chapters too.
