Well if Madara is alive then why on earth would it shock you if the 1st was still alive? Besides the huge plant was grown from the first hokage's dna. almost like a seed from a tree sprouts anew

I think there is a reason for this...I think it goes back to what Naruto said about both him and Sasuke dieing if they fight. True rivals tend to be close in skill and ability so its not such a sure thing Sasuke will win or wont be turned back to the side of good.


Tobi/Madara still needs Sasuke alive for something thats why he told Kabuto only after the war can he have him. Also he stated earlier he wants to use Sasuke as a pawn for hooking up to the Gendo statue.


So the conclusion is its probably too risky for Tobi atm as he needs Sasuke.


On another note its kind of funny that two of the key people currently in Akatsuki probably want to kill Tobi - Sasuke & Kabuto
