yea no more over powered ichigo
Ok, and what now?
...
IMO there are all options open for Kubo:
-End Bleach
-Timeskip showing Ichigo regaining his powers ( like his father did??) with new uber villain(s)
-New uber villain showing up, marking Aizen as a mere puppet in his hands
-Something we didn't even think about!
Awesome chapter, there are a lot of options for Kubo to take indeed. Nonetheless there's no way this is over.
Perhaps Isshin also went through this same predicament in terms of losing his powers? Maybe he had a "final getsuga"? If so why did he use it?
5/5

It felt a little short and it certainly demanded explanations, but still a satisfying chapter all in all, and Kubo's artwork is orgasmic as usual. While I am no huge manga reader, I have seriously yet to come close to a mangaka whose artwork I enjoy as much as Kubo's. Blade of the Immortal is close sometimes, but that's it. I still prefer Kubo's more minalistic design, and his stylization is far superior.
Avatar and signature by me.
Its pretty obvious Kubo is leading into some kind of arc that introduces the Soul King and I would think zero squad as well.
I liked the outcome of this battle with Aizen. Ichigo and Aizen were both incredibly powerful at the end but sheer power was not what did Aizen in. It was Urahara's intellect and strategy that won the battle. Sure it was probably due to Ichigo being shown to be so powerful that led the Hougkyoku to reject Aizen as its master, but that also seemed to fit into what Urahara had planned out. Aizen was the one who ended up dancing in his hand!
I should have known not to expect much from Bleach... it's beyond Kubo's ability to draw cool action sequences, the best he can do is draw cool poses/glares. But I do like his art/character design... I can't believe Aizen went down, and there was never a second of actual, decent fighting between all those power-ups.
EDIT: Just to re-state, that was the biggest disappointment in manga history. Unless Aizen pulls a major comeback somehow, I feel betrayed for finally getting excited about this series.
