I've been thinking that the best solution right now would be that the hogukyoku might fuse with Ichigo instead, seeing it as its true master instead of Aizen. If what Aizen claims is true and that it has got its own will, then this might in fact become a reality.

there should be a season after this thing with azien is done explaining ishins past and how he lost and regained his powers and also how he knows Ryūken Ishida who is Uryū Ishida father
