Awesome episode, I can't ask for more Luffy's intro was epic. Garp's face was hilarious.

Aokiji's face was kinda shocked, and the rest is just so lol I can't wait for the next episode!

The scene near the end with Garp and Ace was gut-wrenching. Even though you know it's coming, the impact isn't lessened in the least.

The added scenes of Garp, Luffy, and Ace were pretty good.

I liked Don Flamingo's speech better in the manga. It seemed far more grand there.

True, I think they intentionally did that to make the whole Episode Introduction Dramatic, then made it Comedy at the end.

But they could've done that also to buy time 'cause they wanted Luffy's intro at the ending of this episode, meh who knows.

One thing's sure though, they overdid it to the point that it's kinda awkward now.

yeah there getting there act together i watched it last night but i waited to post i was not to impressed i mean the animation is getting there but then the toss a good bit of filler in with it i mean come on man you know what i mean

Finally got to watch this episode, was glad most of the emotional parts if not all where shown in this episode and ended with Luffy entering the battle. Can't wait for the next week.

Oh and this is the reason why I couldn't wait for the anime to catch up to this arc last year. Whitebeard owning that giant looks freaking awesome, in the manga whitebeard for me at least was mostly shown standing still. But him easily just crushing that giant was well worth it.

Can't wait till we get to the scene of Whitebeard knocking out platoons of Marines saying "I am Whitebeard!"
