    jiraiya didn't really die

    i guess jiraiya didn't really die, for he was killed by pein. then, we remember that pain had revived all people he killed in time before he died...

    It's okay. Jiraiya didn't really die. He's alive in all of our hearts. But other than that, Pein killed him and left him for dead in a lake. He revived all the people he killed attacking Konoha. You know who wasn't in Konoha at the time? That's right, Jiraiya wasn't there. And if we're to take Nagato's words into consideration, there's a small window of time for which his revival jutsu will work. Jiraiya was way out of that window since he was killed probably 2-3 days before Pein headed for Konoha. So yea, Jiraiya is dead and gone.
