Has anyone heard of this? i know damnz has but did anyone like it, i absolutly loved it and i prolly think you guys like it too if you love amazing art work and a good storyline.
Story

Episode 1: Oukashou ("Excerption from long story about cherry brossom")

Takaki and Akari are in the 4th grade. They are living in Goutokuji, a town in west area of Tokyo. They are nice friends, and wanted to go to same junior high school. (The school is called Nishi-chu:West JHS in the film.) However, Akari moved to Tochigi Prefecture after graduation.

In 1995, Takaki has became junior high student (13 years old). They were exchanging letters, and one day, he went to visit Akari's town by train....
pisode 2: Cosmonaut

The stage is Tanegashima, an island of Kagoshima Prefecture (south end of mainlands of Japan). Tanegashima has space center of JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agancy. (Note: It was NASDA: National Space Development Agency in 1990s.)

In 1999, a high school girl Kanae is Takaki's classmate. She liked Takaki. He was friendly to Kanae, and she wanted to stay with Takaki, but she couldn't say She likes him. Farthermore, they are in summer of the 3rd grade of high school, which is the time of the first dicision of their life path. She was paralyzed with indecision....

Episode 3: Byousoku 5 Centimeters

Takaki was using his computer at private room. He had resigned company, and was working at home. One day, he went out, and walked past a woman at a railroad-crossing. The realization came to him, and he looked back on her, but a train came and cut off his view....


it is made by the same guy who brought you voices of a distant star.

Ah, I loved Byosoku, I thought the first episode was excellent, I can't wait for Cosmonaut to come out.

Simply a GREAT MOVIE.

Makoto Shinkai (the director) is again and again my favourite director with every new movie he makes He's just really great Perfect combination of high quality artwork, coloring, music and character's feelings

I saw the first one when it came out - And keep seeing releases with the same name - So I presumed it was other groups subbing the original as oppose to new episodes.

So just to make it clear - Are the 2nd and 3rd episodes out?

Ah, can't believe I forgot to talk about it.

Every since I got it thanks to Clavat's help, I've watched it a few times and everytime I do I'm in awe of he animation, especially during the Cosmonaut chapter when they have the characters looking up into space.

I alo really enjoyed the unconventional last chapter nd how it played, which reminds me that I have to go get that song.

Last note; monologue is awesome, animation is awesome, nice storyline, Makoto Shinkai has managed to turn what is a seemingly regular tale into something spectacular

Wow! This movie just floored me. The beauty of the animation, music and the well told somber story was all extremely well done. This is top 3 for me. Sorry for the bump, but I have to recommend it to anyone who is an anime fan.
