Psyren; The next big thing after Naruto?

Yo,

I've been hearing some people mention they expect Psyren to be Shonen JUMP's next big thing, once Naruto's over and I'd like to know all of your opinions about that. It's a really cool series, but somehow I'm not 100% sure.

Well, so far it's been pretty interesting... only time will tell, but it will be hard, Naruto has become a brand name plus I think it has the ability to target a younger audience and sell more crap than Psyren would. All this things are key factors to the success of the manga. If that's not the case it just becomes another good story without a video game or card games that some people haven’t heard of.

Good example of branding would be DBZ, Pokemon, Yu gi oh, Naruto. Bleach and One Piece are popular but not on that level.

But then again this is my own opinion.

i can't see it happening myself. not to mention they can only go back so many times.

True, but look at Gantz, they're pretty similar and Gantz is already nearing its 300th chapter.

The story may be decent and the way is being developed good enough, but the main characters are not as good as in the first chapters of Naruto, One Piece, etc.

Well, that's my opinion. It lacks good charactes.

He did say AFTER Naruto ended so your argument isnt valid.
And what do you mean Bleach and OP arent on the level of DBZ, Pokemon and Yugioh!?
Anyways,I dont know.Its way to early to tell. Psyrens characters arent as good as Narutos but thats because they arent developing them in the same manner.

No it won't.

as Damz says , they lack good characters . (Amamaya is the only , i Like).
If we're making bet . I would say Fairy Tail is the next big series . (like Bleach , One piece etc..).But not at the naruto level, i mean not a Pokemon-Super SayanYuGiHo Ultimate Power. (i hate the merchandising ( and i have studied it ! (Years of dispear..))
