Well, not exactly. We just see Tobi standing on Madara's statue with his sharingan activated. That's not really 100% proof he's Madara.

maybe tobi is like itachi.....his eye site has gone so bad that he needs the sharingan to see

Kakashi mentioned it when they met again with Chiyo, Sakura, and Naruto... Itachi was surprised that kakashi had figured out why his sharingan was always on. See chapter 257, pages 8 and 9.

Here is my theory. Tobi = Itachi. Itachi has multiple personalities and Tobi is one of them. And this theory has as much proof behind it as Tobi=Madara or Tobi=Obito.

I doubt that Madara would go off in the 3rd person about "his power". I think rather that Tobi is obsessed with Madara Uchiha. Maybe he just stole Obito's remaining eye? He only reveals that eye because he just wants to show off his Sharingan?

It's the second or third clue that Kishi has given us who Tobi really is, and going off in the 3rd person about "his power" is a good clue, third person (Tobi, Obito, Madara), also standing on this statue its another clue about him saying that he is something attached to Madara.

madara was said to summon the kyuubi ! if tobi wants madara power he needs to capture the kyuubi cause summoning a kyuubi requires lots of chakra . i think tobi wants to get hold of naruto powers of the kyuubi which was madara power ? maybe tobi possess the yin or dark powers of the kyuubi ?
