Which anime has the best music?

Most of the good animes have already mentioned, but I'd like to say Soul Eater - Resonance, Strength, Style, and Paper Moon are all great songs with Strength being the best.

I cannot express how much samurai champloo's music inspired my life. Like seriously, I have never to this day, seen any combination like Samurai champloo. Remembering the first time I heard the op, so excited towatch the episode, being presented with such a unique and flavourfull artstyle, the music, fucking everything. But especially the music.

i would have to say naruto shippuuden. Only with the new version of the akastuki music when hidan and Kakuzu where vsin shakimaru and kakashi. It was the first time they had update the akastuki theme and it sounds awsome.

I like all the music in Naruto/Naruto Shippuden, InuYasha, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

I'll give credit to the first naruto anime for one song, Chaba - Parade.
Otherwise, there are myriads of anime with far better music.

Recently I've gone back to my Fate/Stay Night OST, It has some great music on it, Kenji Kawaii's version of "Emiya" is brilliant (I love the original version and the Fate/Ataraxia version too).
Also Kara no Kyoukai, all the OP/ED's by Kalafina and all the backround music by Yuki Kajiura, there hasn't been a single OST out of the 5 so far that I haven't liked and I'm looking forward to the 6th when it comes out :|

I gotta agreee with Sangaz here. I just recently watched Kara no Kyoukai (Murder Speculation Part 1) and ended up downloading every OST onto iTunes.

for OSTs (and NOT the series OP and ED)
i think geass, khr, one piece, nabari, are best (not in order)
kotaro nakagawa (geass, gun sword) and michiru ooshima (nabari, fma) are really recognizable styles, so i especially like their music =)

and i usually like most of the OP/ED music for the series i like anyways =_=
