Which anime has the best music?

Oh man, I forgot Macross Frontier. The music is the only reason I still watch that show.

i just started to listen to some of the bleach theme songs, they r really good. i love d-tecnolife, arigato and haruta kanta from naruto and also loved blue bird but i listened to it alot when it cam eout now i hate it. vampire knight theme song also sounds good.

I agree Gurren Lagann has awesome music. Nikopol and Gattai Nante Kuso Kurae are the best. And of course Sorairo Days is a great OP.

I like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya's music. Princess Mononoke had some beautiful songs, too.

I got hooked on anime music with Escaflowne's opening (Yakusoku wa Iranai by Maaya Sakamoto). It was also the first ever Japanese song I translated. (and with zero knowledge of Japanese back then, it was god awful.)

Then came Rurouni Kenshin. Judy and Mary was good, but L'Arc n'Ciel was even better. No wonder L'Arc n'Ciel bandmembers can snag pretty young idols as wives.

Didn't like the first few songs from Bleach, but after Rolling Star, I loved most of the themes. I download anime sporadically so I don't have a lot of choices, but I also liked Hishoku no Sora from Shakugan no Shana. I didn't watch Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu, but I liked the songs from there, too.

The thing I like about Japanese songs are the natural imagery. They sing about things like the wind (kaze) and sky (sora) and rivers (kawa) and oceans (umi) a lot, and you can feel it in the songs. Also, I have rarely heard songs about misery. I seldom here emo themed songs. Even breakup love songs are always about being strong and getting back up.

I've been addicted to Night Wizard ending for 2 weeks ^^ and I still like to listen to it (at least once a day^^)

Bleach and Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu have both very good music. Although I have never seen it, I have a folder with Macross Frontier music and it is very enjoyable to listen. Also some of Naruto and One Piece music.
