You're probably thinking of Maximum7. Also we don't have a school anymore, we've implemented this whole new "mentor-mentee" thing. (not my idea)

Maximum 7 is correcto. They do Really good HQ scans but they take a bit as a result to get them out. Also you guys are more of a speed scan, but you really do get good quality compared to all the others out there. So its understandable for him to think that.

Meh, I guess. Don't really care either. Its really the scanlation I care about. I didn't know JapFlap was considered HQ. I thought they were also a speedgroup as well.

JAPFAPS is a HQ speed-scan group. Thing is tho, they live in a different dimension so when they do a release within an hour of getting the raws, our time it takes 2 months.

I'm going to be as blunt as I can here:

This shit isn't HQ, our shit isn't HQ, people need to fucking stop calling it HQ.

Groups like Maximum7, Ju-Ni, Japflap, now that's HQ.

Of course I have an super awesome orgasmicly amazing technique, it's something I've spent time working on and am always working on. I won't give it to you, hell I won't even give it to my other group members.

There's a reason scanlation groups are protective of their techniques, it's because they put work into making them and they don't want to give that work out to people who would use it to spite them.

Now as for your tutorial, it's a nice tutorial, on that quality of raw it produces an effect comparable to ours. But it's not as good as ours, we don't work on raws as nice as the one you did. So when you say you can clean like us in 5 minutes it annoys me.

And I'm saying it's not like Mangastream's. When I say we I mean the Binktopia/Mangastream super taskforce (this name is copyrighted =P).

Like I said it's a nice tutorial, but to call it the same is like calling swine flu and a venereal disease the same.

I hate to be tied down to a singular method because when you are you lose the ability to respond to different situations. That being said, yes we have pooled our resources.
