Possiblly Sabo cheated him and sold them out so he could be working for the BlueJam Pirates?

I'm guessing Ace and Sabo rescued Luffy but ace was caught and Sabo had to get back to help Ace that caused his life. Sabo's final words would be "keep living ace"

Well it's better than how 4kids explained her death, in that she beat a man at a sparring match so he got a couple of friend to beat here up and that's when she got paralsed.
