At least the episodes that aren't fillers cover more than a single page from the manga. Unlike Naruto, Bleach episodes aren't slow motion.

As much as filler sucks, at least it isn't horrible filler with light sabers and animation they got because they bought it in bulk like Naruto. There are possible story lines and some character development.

*sigh* I was the same way, until I got bored of the anime and found out that the Bound arc was filler. From then on, I was only reading the manga.
