Would be more logical, not to mention practical to just implement a spam filter and alleviate the need for reporting or removal altogether.

I realize I'm new, but I agree with most of the members.
As a MODERATOR it is their job to MODERATE. If this is the case, appoint several Mod's to this section to supervise and control.

Yeah, these mods we have are lazy pieces of crap. I mean where did they find these guys. Each one is worse than the last. How long does it take to delete spam for Christs sake. I say we give them an ultimatum, either delete all spam within 30 seconds or face disciplinary action. Instead of spam monitors we will have a mod disciplinary team. First on my list is that bastard DFX, and Thsv you aren't far behind. Kudos on this great idea Paulbee.

I know you guys are kidding around, but I also hope you grasp the true spirit of my post up.
I have a visceral dislike for spammers, plus an appreciation for the fact that Mods cannot be availlable 24/7.
I am not perfect and I defy you to prove otherwise

LOL I came to MS today and this is what I saw.
Spoiler!
With the exception of the Fairy tail post at the top, everything else under what's new was Wall to Wall Spam, some were even repeated double spamming Threads.
Coincidentally, Mangahelpers recently asked me by email to participate as a "Spam monitor" on their site. I did turn them down because I simply don't spend enough time there.
I do hope we come up with a successful strategy to beat the spammers and their Bots soon, for the sake of the site, because I have a bad feeling as to the continued survival of MS if we keep getting overun by spam.
