The Living Daylights is a James Bond film. It was Timothy Dalton's first Bond movie.

    Ah

    That explains it.

Sadly enough the only James Bond movie I've ever seen is Casino Royal, one of the more recent ones. But its okay because I can look forward to going back and watching them all for the 1st time.

Dont go back you just did yourself a favor starting with the best.

    - On another note isnt it funny how some movies stand the test of time and others seem so lame in todays time.

    - Robocop seemed so cool back then but now it is so corny to me I can only laugh at it.

While others like Aliens are timeless movies that never get old too me. I still laugh at the lines in Aliens here are some of my favorites lol.......

Hudson: Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?

    Vasquez: No. Have you?
Frost: Hot as hell in here.

Hudson: Yeah man, but it's a dry heat!
Hudson: Well that's great, that's just fuckin' great, man. Now what the fuck are we supposed to do? We're in some real pretty shit now man...

    Hicks: Are you finished?

Hudson: That's it man, game over man, game over! What the fuck are we gonna do now? What are we gonna do?

Burke: Maybe we could build a fire, sing a couple of songs, huh? Why don't we try that?
Vasquez: Look, man. I only need to know one thing: where they are.

    Drake: Go, Vasquez. Kick ass.

    Vasquez: Anytime, anywhere, man!

Hudson: Right, right. Somebody said "alien" she thought they said "illegal alien" and signed up!

    Vasquez: Fuck you, man!

    Hudson: Anytime, anywhere.

Hudson will be the guy I hated in Aliens then.
Nigh on every fucking sentence coming out his mouth had "man" on the end. It was just embarrassing to watch such a cliche character.
Granted, he wasn't annoying enough to spoil the film for me.

I was a giant aircraft nerd back then (Thanks to dad being in the Air Force), so it was the Iron Eagle series (which I enjoyed for around a decade until I realized how crappy they were) and Top Gun.

Then it was Robocop. Never really was a fan of the Aliens and Terminator series (too much gore and explosions for lil' me.)

I didn't really have good taste.
