    But you know going by logic if it's multiple barriers and it took Ichigo 12 hours to get through them then the first couple of barriers should have already been closed off.

    I'm not good at maths so I'll leave it to someone else to work out the formula, but the questions is: If each barrier stays open for 100 minutes and Ichigo went through 72 barriers in 12 hours (give or take a few hours) how many barriers are left open?

    12hrs = 720 mins

    This implies that Barrier:

    #1 closed 120 mins ( Plus the number of mins since Ichigo arrived) ago.
    #2 Will close in 600-120 = 480 ( minus the number of mins since Ichigo arrived) mins.

    It is kind of stupid for the Zero division to give Ichigo a garment made from a material the enemy could take from him and exploit to invade the Royal Dimension.

    It would have been far better and reasonable to teleport him using the same means that Ouetsu used to send him back to earth.

    I am not perfect and I defy you to prove otherwise

    That's exactly why Bach is baiting Ichigo, and he will succeed in getting the Kings Key unless Ishida decides to throw in a monkey wrench.

    Ichigo was certainly slowed down by the barriers because of the friction, so going up through the open holes would be faster, probably.

    Basing on what you said:
    12h = 720min.
    720min/72barriers = 10min per barrier.
    thus the distance from one barrier to another with piercing it, took an average of 10min. So this would mean that at best only 10 barriers are left open.

    Of course, Bach never said that each barrier is left open for 6000 seconds, but that after crossing all the 72 layers of barriers they are open for the remaining 6000 seconds. In other words, each barrier is open for at least 820 minutes, but since Ichigo was opening them at different times, only the last (first from SS's point) barrier remains open for 820 minutes, while the first one (last from SS's point) still remains open for 100 minutes (since 720 minutes passed after piercing it). Assuming that it took Ichigo 12 hours to pierce through all of them.

    Another possibility is that all the layer are connected and that those can start closing themselves only when none of those are being pierced (so Ichigo piercing a layer in average 10 minutes per one, might be the real cause of why those didn't even start closing off yet). This would mean that those stated closing only now, and it will take 6000 seconds to close them off.

    Also, under those assumptions, the Quincy would need to move at over 7,2 times Ichigo's falling speed, in order to reach the last barrier (because Ichigo had already spent a few minutes? in SS).

    You mean this guy (the D-ritter) ?:
    Spoiler!

    Looks like he knows Bach's plan and ponders whether he will have a right to chose or not... plus he doesn't look like Aizen (look at his lips).

    He is one of the few if not the only Quincy that didn't kill any Shinigami and was reserving his strength for "something".

    He is one of the smart-types as he seemingly also understood or even foresaw Uryu's attaining the title of successor.

    Also, he has a name so long that we don't even know his surname (quite suspicious):
    Spoiler!

    Not to mention that this statement:
    Spoiler!

    seems to imply that he is on Hashvalth's side and that they even plan on doing something (coup d'etat ?). It might have something to do with his "choice" at the end of chapter 582.

    Though Hashvalth's revelation to Uryu, makes it seem less likely, unless they are able to wipe out Bach as well. Then again, the way Hashvalth looks and acts when Bach sleeps, can also imply that he doesn't like the current situation...
