As we see later on (Hokage meeting) Sasuke is able to control the flames already and he surely isn't warping around flames or whatever so apparently he tried to control the flames already to save Karin and Killerbee and didn't warp them into another dimension.

the fights in naruto shippuuden are now on a next level this was no different, great fight superb animation i was amazed throghout the fight , but yyyy damn fillers coming up

I really hope this filler isnt more than 10 episodes. imo they dont even need a filler arc right now.

Umm, Sasuke used the other eye though, i believe. I had always thought one eye had ameterasu and the other the dimension warping one... But i recall him switching eyes to get the fire off karen and the 8tails.

the 'warping' we see (and from the way it was animated looks to be from Sasuke's perspective) may avtually be Sasuke using MS to extinguish the flames..

I'll have to look again, but the vortex warping we saw was only for Karin's extinguishment.. when putting out the flames on fully transformed 8 tails, I dont remember seeing one of those warping effects..

but i'll double check and edit this
