.... this might be a bit too obvious, but what if Bartolomeo is related in some way to Bartholomew? I know they can't be the same person for obvious reasons, but their names are way too similar to ignore.

I personally think Bartolomeo will play an Major Role because he is the only one we didnt see.. only heard his name.
And Aggerof, Great catch, maybe an Brother/Nephew?

the description of his character was arguable to.. the Crazy rookie from one Year ago.
    Is it Gin? No way.

They may not be really related necessarily, but just affiliated through the Revolutionary army. Perhaps he is Sabo.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Aside from every other unbelievably excitiing reveal that occured this chapter, I have to say I'm really eager to see Bellamy in action. Sure he has only increased his reputation to 100 million beris, but I he still was one of the interesting characters in terms of ideology and theology of the New Age. Plus, I want to see what the big deal is with Sarkies after there was all that commotion of him in that special exhibit a while back.

Well what if the guy she wants him to kill is Bartolomeo and Bartolomeo is Gin?

    just saying.

But I am looking forward to seeing these fights.

I doubt he has the monks DF, we saw that picture and the monk was in it.

Ok, Sanji goes with the pretty lady that stabs people that betray her, but then his nose bleeds for someone else, then the lady stabs him. Then he is found by Chopper and gets check out. In the full body scan, Chopper finds out Sanji's leg is broken. That also maybe the reason he told Zoro to wait up..hmm maybe. Anyways Chopper tells Sanji his leg is broken and he feels the need to upgrade just when Luffy pops up and says 'hey guys look what i got, who wants it?'. Simple.

There is no rule saying the it has to be eaten by the victor or Luffy would not be competing..

As curious as I am with how Oda plans to use Sanji's broken leg in the story (assuming it wasn't healed following the PH arc with Sanji's own soup), I don't think it'll wind up like this. Actually pretty positive. Chopper is part of the Sunny Protection Team for one, likely in the opposite direction Violet will be taking Sanji. Secondly, while Sanji is almost certainly going to get backstabbed, I think it'll play a integral part in his side story. So far I'm getting a "gypsy" vibe from Violet. Seeing as Doflamingo has his hands dirty with every other criminal market (slavery, Black Market goods, Smile, gambling, etc), this would be a perfect chance to illustrate a prostitute/escort ring. Sanji then winds up fighting the pimp/madam who is the reason behind the "craziness" of the women in the country. Sanji would then become a favorite in Dressrosa as well as FI.

Also, no one said it had to be eaten by the winner; obviously that wouldn't work from the get go if Luffy wound up winning the tournament.

Where did Sanji say his leg was broken? If I remember right it was Vergo's leg that looked like it cracked, and Sanji was still able to run out of the facility at the same speed as the marines there - he did say something about it would be 'bad' if he kept fighting like this, but I thought he was just hurting from Vergo being like a lump of iron.

Nope. It was Sanji's leg that fractured; just look at his reaction to it. The reason he thought it would be bad to continue, was because of the gas. Sanji, although not comparable to Zoro or Luffy, is a beast in his own right and could handle a broken leg or two.

It's funny some1 posted it as a joke, with a pic to remind of the scene, but I could see Oda making use of it again(even if not here, then somewhere).
The PX that Kuma repelled somewhere to save the SH's, then repelled them to places to train/ get stronger. It really was never seen or heard of/ from again. They call that rookie crazy Barto lomeo; what if in repelling him Kuma made him malfucntion, now when he pronounces the name Bartholomew Kuma with his malfunctions it comes out as Bartolomeo...
Either this or the way Oda keeps hiding his identity, think it's somewhat of an anagram for some1 already familiar to the audience.

Thought the bounty was more than 100 million beris, as in alluding to him keeping his "situation" with Luffy in mind always; and possibly trying to "gloat" a bit But yeah Chopper could probably take him , easily.

Monk Urouge? Where was it said he had a DF?

    ehhh...
When Sanji gets his clear moments of vindication then you'll be hearing from me.

always thought they were the rare people drawn with blinding familial similarities, but now Oda's given Bellamy the junior DD glasses, practically cements some type of familial relationship in my eyes.

One thing I don't understand though, why do people keep getting fooled about Luffy's appearance with this many wanted posters around? Granted that a person might change but that much. "An-eight-metre-giant" lol. Anyway the best chapter for a while now.
Lastly I hope Cavendish is on block C so Luf....sorry...Lucy could curb stomp him for shits and giggles. He would count himself Lucky for not meeting Kidd first,.......lol.
That always reminds me of that marine at EL; that when seeing Luffy approach the ship fast while "moving the power around of Gear 3rd" in his body, he said something like:
"I never realized Mugiwara No Luffy was so big. Does he suffer from a glandular problem?"

It would weirdly all come full circle if like those "gossip chains" you see on shows, where by the time it reaches the last person, it's a completely different "rumor" === Luffy is "An-eight-metre-giant"

Curious what difference there is with them and the Worst Rookie Generation.. . (I think Cavendish will be obliterated but Bartomoleo is maybe an wild factor).
Agreed, but would be okay if Cavendish made it a bit farther.
