Should marajuana be legalized?

this is not true. growing up around drugs ive seen many people move on to other things. my dad for example smoked weed when he was younger and now hes a crack head bum. your thinking is affected when your high so whats to stop you from trying something or experimenting.

and yes the first time i messed with weed i was like 12. i smoked regs
and not everyone turns to bigger and worst things. i know alot of people who just smoke weed. they dont do bars or anything like that.i was just saying that it could be a gateway drug thats all

Ok weed is not a bad or good drug, it's a neutral drug. It is up the individual if they want to continue on and use more "harder" drugs or not.

I use to smoke weed, and received no enjoyment in it. Does this mean that I believe that weed should be bad? No, I just say that if people could control how much the smoke, it would be fine to have marijuana legalized. However that would not be the case since people would abuse weed like crazy, especially here in America.

I say make it legal, however put enough restrictions on it that you really can't do that much without getting in serious trouble, like being over the limit.

well maybe if it was legalized crime rates might go down.the reason is because you woulb be able to buy it at the store instead of from a dope boy.there might be less drug dealers and less violence because now you can buy it at the store. im just trying to argue for the oposite side. legalizing it might do the opposite i dont know for sure

I think that if it were legal, less people would smoke it. It's just like in europe how Alcohol is legal at a young age. Kids can drink alcohol legally at a young age, but they choose not to, while Americans can't drink alcohol until they are 21, and so thus, they crave it. It's already legal in a sense, I mean, it's INCREDIBLY easy to get a medical prescription for marijuana, and then even easier to find a store that sells Medical Marijuana. Still, I say no, because I like seeing people get arrested for it on Cops.

And even with your 5 times stat. What is the original chance? 1% so my chance of doing cocaine jumps from 1% to 5%?

I have been offered cocaine, i could get some in 15 minutes. yet i have not done it. Yet i have smoke most forms of Marijuana.
