It sort of looked like it, however we all know what is going to happen.

Oz will begin to remember Luffy's memories with the scooby gang, um I mean the Straw Hats. Which will make him defeat Moria so Luffy's bounty doesn't raise once more, for a while at least.

Since Oda did the classic foreshadow of Oz saying, "I don't know you guys." at the end of the chapter to Ussop's remark. Meaning that Oz eventually will remember and etc.

ya.. Oda is a true manga tensai lol didnt see that coming at all... whole crew wasted... Luffy better work something out really fast...

Oh and now im 100% the one that beats Abdul.. or whatever his name is (beast captain) will be Nami...

Oz totally owned the entire crew, pretty awesome. I just knew that Robin would recognize Oz´s name at some point. Too bad she didn´t tell too much more about him.

lol the whole crew did got owend wtf XD and luffy's didnt do anything but keep running hehe. Well it would be easier to kick Moria's ass than Oz's ass because Oz is way to big to fight.

i think gear 3 wont help... they should trick oz somehow

Why does everyone think that Luffy will need to unleash a new gear, if another one does exist in Oda's mind. If Oda has too unleash a new gear move every arc now, since gear two and three were just introduced really, then the gears are just like the super sayian levels of Dragon Ball fame.

Luffy has enough moves in his arsenal to have a enjoyable fight with Moria and then get a beat down from Oz. Which will make Oz remember Luffy's memories and so forth, since Oda has plot lines that can be seen before hand, for the most part.

Well, it would be cool that all the Straw Hats (Luffy not) join their forces and make a good strategy (Nami or Robin are inteligent enough) and they kick Oz's ass with a incredible combo (including parts of the building falling on Oz).

We've seen almost always fights 1vs1, 2vs1 or 2vs2... why not 8vs1?

Judging from the size, strenght, speed & intelligence level of Oz, I can't see why that can't happen.

...i think they might trick oz into drinking sea-water or something, or put massive amounts of salt into his mouth, or something... after an intense battle of course, oda cannot disappoint.
