I don't get why they call it a double issue. It doesn't have anymore content than a regular issue. Just seems like a BS way to say they're skipping week.
It's called double-issue since every issue carries a #-number according to the week. Since there are weeks without Mags, like 4-5 times a year, they call the previous issues double-issue and number it #03-04 for example, meaning it counts for week 3 and 4.
It's really not a big deal, guess it just doesn't translate so well into english or whatever.
Also, I didn't come to post this thread yet since there is always a confusion about releases around christmas. Magazines, in the past, were often shipped before christmas or quite often before new years, giving us magazines even the week after a double-issue and then we were missing mags the week after that instead. The fact stands that we will be missing 2 magazines in the coming 4 weeks, but the "when" is quite open yet...
I get it now. I guess it's good to keep all the numbers in place.
Manga reading list: Bleach, Naruto, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, One Piece, Code Breaker, Gamaran, Kuroko No Basket, Fairy Tail, The World God Only Knows, Kimi No Iru Machi, Good Ending, Medaka Box, Nisekoi, D.Gray-Man, Ao No Exorcist, Freezing, Magi - Labyrinth of Magic, Soul Eater, Rosario Vampire Season II, Iris Zero, Ubell Blatt, Bloody Cross, Sun-Ken Rock, and Infinite Stratos,
This sucks, I'm gonna be bored then :(
It does include One Piece. But I don't mind, after all Christmas is next week.
I Love You!
