So nice watching Bakuman play out. 3rd episode was nice and I'm really liking the pace. I hope they don't deviate from the plot and I'm wondering at what point it will stop.

Bakuman is great. I just finished watching episode 1 and the manga is also really heating up. Even at this moment I'm still reading it. I just started about 3 days ago and currently on chapter 49.

Anybody know why they changed the name of the magazine in the series from Jump to "Jack"? The anime company not want to advertise for Jump?... even though that's where they are getting their source material.

Im guessing its more like they cant.. They would probably have to pay for using the name in their anime.. I found it odd, too.. Im just guessing its a legal issue, though.. I dont really have any idea.
I have no idea why jump wouldnt just go ahead and say use our name, so maybe its because of the anime company.. :-/ Stupid policies...
Maybe someone who knows why will enlighten us.

So far loving the anime except for 1 scene they changed that was really f*cked up! First time they talking about they fav manga's Tagaki mentions Dragon Ball correct, but Saiko says a boxing manga wtf?!! He said One Piece not that sh*T!
Actually IRRC they weren't even saying what was their fav manga's in the manga. They were just mentioned something like "Yeah if we want our manga to compete with great works like Dragon Ball and One Piece." Some thing along those lines.
